Peer Pressure

Have been running some schools workshops the last few days, talking to boys about being 'Real Men' so talking about relationships with girls, peer pressure, fears etc.

I came up with a great way of talking to the boys about peer pressure, which can be hard to explain in a non-cliche'd way.

The way I explained it was that when you give in to peer pressure to drink, smoke, be an idiot or whatever, what you are actually saying is that their opinion is more important than yours, that what they have to say is better than what you have to say or think.

Found it connected really well with the boys, so thought I'd share it.
